What are the graphis units used for grid in Symbol and schematic editor?

I was looking for the units used in schematics and symbol editor in order to use a consistent symbol design guideline.

Does any one knows what units are used for the grid spacing in the symbol editor?

I’ve used 2.54mm (0.1") and 2.50mm for 100 internal units. It’s kind of arbitrary but it’s most convenient if the default text size matches because there is no preset for it (IEC would mandate a letter size of the grid size but half of it is also common – note that an “M” of size 1.0 is larger than 100 internal units…).
