Will device snubber limit the switching frequency (fsw) of SiC FETs?

Will device snubber limit the switching frequency (fsw) of SiC FETs?

No. From our test, using device snubber means we can use low Rg, which means less total switching loss than using single high Rg. So, we can say that using high Rg to control VDS spike will limit the fsw of SiC FETs. In fact, snubber helps us to use SiC FETs at higher fsw with less EMI. Please note that the snubber resistor Rs should be selected by correct power rating.
