What’s the difference between PHR data rate and Data rate

Hi there

Data rate 110kbps, PHR is the same.
Data rate 6.8Mbps, PHR is 850kbps

What is their difference?

What will be the result of different Data rate and PHR data rate?

Why not use long preamble at 6.8Mbps data rate?

Hi Malan,

PHR Datarate will apply to the PHR part of the frame while Datarae applies to the PSDU part of the frame (payload, or actual data).

You can mix different PHR rate and PSDU Datarate, it will result in frame of different length.
