What does "Not supported in QM33 SDK" mean?

Hi all,
I’m using the DW3_QM33_SDK v1.0.2 and I see a lot of stuff in the documents are labeled NSQM33, or not supported in QM33 SDK. I’m wondering whether that means they are not supported on QM33 chips, or they are not supported on any chips using the SDK, including the DWM3001CDK board I have.
Thank you for any help!

Hi @explocion ,

Can you please be more precise about which “features” not supported you’re referring to ?

Thanks,
Wassim

Hi @Wassim_Qorvo,

Thank you for replying. I’m looking into UCI commands such as sending and receiving data over a FiRa session in section 5.8 in the UCI message API document.

Hi @explocion ,

About 5.8 [Not supported in QM33 SDK] Sending data over a FiRa session, actually Data transfer is not supported as part of the QM33 SDK.
So, it’s not supported on any chips using the SDK.

Hi @Wassim_Qorvo,
Just to clarify. Are you saying this non-supported functionality is because not implemented in the QM33 chipset so cannot be supported in the QM33 SDK or just not implemented in current QM33 SDK 1.0.2 firmware?

Not implemented in the current sdk.
ranging and communications ARE supported on the SAME chipsets(and boards) for the Apple QNI function. so its technically doable.

as a non-FIRA org member, my quess is that they haven’t got to that stage of the protocol yet.

they just got to one to many. (which you can use with the scripts)

of course that (USB only) is not practical in the end solutions.
