TREK1000 Features and Support to encapsulate data

Hi All

I have a TREK1000 evaluation Kit and checking the schematics, it looks like the ARM ST Micro has a SPI interface to the DecaWave Chip.

Having 3 Anchors and 7 Tags, I would like to know the following:

• Is it possible to transmit “custom” data to the Tags from one Anchor? Custom data will be a very small payload (around 4 to 8 bytes).
• How can I retrieve that “custom” payload over SPI to the ARM processor. The goal is use the payload to control some GPIO or even transmit data over Serial.

Z: - Yes

• How can I retrieve that “custom” payload over SPI to the ARM processor. The goal is use the payload to control some GPIO or even transmit data over Serial.

Z: - you can get the data by reading the receive buffer - please study the code and see how any of the existing frames are received (e.g. Poll from the tag)
