Hello, I am using S parameters file to evaluate my design, however I am not sure what design being used to provide S parameters data as matching is not there and not sure about other biasing circuits which is available in datasheet. As I have to design the matching circuit and also the layout afterwards, kindly guide in this matter. Thank you.
I’m not sure exactly what you are asking. The s-par file on the TQP9111 webpage is de-embedded to the device RF input/output pins. In order to simulate the amplifier over a particular frequency band you would need to add external matching networks, and the microstrip lines that also impact RF performance. What frequency range are you interested in?
hello, so my frequency of interest is 2.2 to 2.3 GHz, and I have designed my matching network with S-parameter file available. So for my rest of the circuit, I looked in S2P file which mentions values of L1 and L2 at pin nos. 18 and 20. I would like to know the value of L3 during S para meas. setup so that I can finish my design.
L3 of 0R would have been used, as s-pars taken with the base 2600MHz eval board. L3 on pin 8 (Iref) should not have an impact on RF performance, as it’s a bias current control pin.

Yes, but as they are de-embedded s-pars the tuning components on RF input and output will have been removed.
