TQP7M9106 - Qorvo support request for lower gain

Dear Qorvo Support Team,

I am currently evaluating the TQP7M9106 power amplifier for use in the 400–470 MHz band. Based on the datasheet, I understand the typical gain is around 20.8 dB (min: 19 dB, max: 22 dB).

However, in my testing, I am consistently observing an average gain of approximately 16 dB, which is lower than expected.
I have attached the design reference and test results for your review.

Could you please help me understand the possible reasons for this lower gain? Specifically:

Is the performance expected to degrade in the 400–470 MHz range?

Are there any matching network adjustments or layout guidelines to optimize gain in this band?

Could the observed issue be related to biasing, layout, or component tolerances?

I would appreciate any insights or suggestions you can provide to help improve the amplifier performance.
Looking forward to your guidance.
