Total Latency in positioning system over BLE

Hi,

Does anybody know what the total latency is for the automatic positioning system? I’m using it by reading the BLE location data characteristic. So I was wondering how long it takes from UWB tag calculating position and send it to the BLE characteristic…

Hi @GerbenG
once the tag do TWR within it slots then it takes typically 3.5ms to calculate the position from ranges and then it goes directly to BLE - it should not be more than few seconds.

There is always a but: The returned position is an average of last three measured positions! For fast moving object you will see some delay which is caused by this averaging.
