Is there any concern / trade-off with operating the TGM2635-CP at a lower quiescent current, closer to 750-800mA?
The TGM2635-CP has not been tested by Qorvo at quiescent currents this low. There will be effects like reduced linearity. What are you trying to achieve by reducing quiescent current to 750-800mA?
Thank you Chris. I am lowering the quiescent current to reduce the small signal gain of the amplifier. This is currently the least physically invasive option for an assembly.
Yes you would get lower small signal gain. There will be quite high variation in small signal gain between devices and across temperature, so worth taking this into account.
