Symbol creation for dual channel JFETS?

I am just starting out in the world of circuit simulators, I hope this isn’t a really stupid question.

I have a spice model for a dual channel JFET. When I copy the code into QSPICE, it asks me to create a symbol. I say yes. However, the symbol it creates is just a single JFET symbol with only one (drain, gate, source) pin for each. Shouldn’t it show up as some kind of double stacked symbol with 6 pins instead of 3? Does QSPICE even have that kind of symbol?

Should I treat this single symbol as two jets just connected from source to drain? But if that’s the case, how would I add a resistor between the two matched pairs for biasing purposes?

Dual channel JFETs are two JFETs in one package. In simulation, the model can be just a single JFET model, and you need to use two devices to simulate a dual channel application.
Can you share the part number for this dual channel JFET and provide a link to the model?

Thanks for that info! Really helpful

The part number is LSK489A

Here is the link to the model https://www.linearsystems.com/_files/ugd/7e8069_668879111342422cbdbc172d1d2d9d75.pdf

In the datasheet of LSK489A, it physically consists of two JFETs in one package, with their G, D, and S terminals separated. The SPICE model represents one of them.
