I’ve worked on other forum sites. Many of them have the ability of the author or moderator of a posting to select “Solved” on a posting that was helpful to solve the issue at hand.
Additionally, the “Solved” tag was indicated in the Thread summary Listing. This allows viewers to determine if a posting has a solution or is still pending.
