When “overdriving” the Qorvo SiC JFET gate to minimize on-resistance, how much current should I allow to flow into the gate?

Thanks for your interest with our JFET product. It’s approximately 1mA.

1 mA is sufficient to forward bias the gate. However, using the JFET gate-source diode for sensing the JFET chip temperature is easier with more current, in the range of 5 to 10 mA.
