Safe configuration

I’m in the process of updating my DW1000 PCB, which includes revisions to oscillator and power supply. If I am troubleshooting power and/or frequency issues, what is the best “safe” radio configuration to use? I.e., one that would maximize the likelihood of a frame getting through even in the presence of noise and/or frequency offsets.
