Hi ,
i’m using the RFSW8009 on my design. The ref design recommand using 1nF on the control voltages. I wanted to know if it’s possible to reduce this value , to avoid delay on the switching time.
Thank you
Yes, OK to reduce the value as it is there for filtering.
The recommended capacitance value of 1nF for control voltages in the RFSW8009 design is likely specified to ensure stable operation and proper filtering of control signals. Reducing this capacitance may lead to faster switching times, but it could also introduce noise and instability in the control signals, potentially affecting the performance of the switch. If you decide to reduce the capacitance, it’s important to test the design thoroughly to ensure that it meets your performance requirements without introducing issues. Consider starting with a smaller capacitance value and monitoring the switching performance and stability.
