RFPA5542 Replacement Options

Hello,
We are working on a university project to wirelessly transmit live camera feed to an LCD screen from a range of up to 2 miles. We are looking into analog solutions and found a schematic that uses the RFPA5542 IC. Unfortunately, according to Qorvo site information, this product is discontinued. A replacement option we saw was the QPF4518M, however it is currently tagged with “Not Recommended For New Designs”. Are there any replacement options for this component that are recommended? Preferably a component with a dev kit and/or supported resources/documentation.

Hello Chris. QPA9501 is very close to the TQP5525 which was similar to the RFPA5542. There is an eval board for the QPA9501 (P/N QPA9501PCB401). You can contact one of our distributors (RFMW, Richardson Electronics, Mouser, etc.).
