why it is necessary to use Raspberry Pi 3 model B only in gateway ? what are the main basics ? i have raspberry pi 4 , can i use it instead of rpi3 ?

answered in another thread.

The 1Gbit interface generates too many interrupts so it is not possible anymore for kernel to maintain precise timing that is needed for SPI communication. There is no workaround for it.
