Qspice working offline

Hi,
From an enthusiastic former LtSpice user.
May be I missed some information but seems that Qspice doesn’t work without an internet connection. Is it possible or it depends on some misconfiguration of mine?

Work well without any network or Internet connection…

Thanks. I will better check.

QSPICE runs entirely offline – nothing communicated to the web.

But if it doesn’t have an internet connection, it will tell you it couldn’t check for updates and offer to suppress that message for a period of time.

Thanks Mike. Checked. I updated the version to the latest and it works perfectly. Probably there were some issues with the Administrator privileges in the initial installation. Great job, never stop saying.

The problem is, when we have no Internet connection more than three months - for many reasons, the program stops working for me and says - do an update over the Internet and exit.
QSPICE stop working anymore without Internet update.

In real world - my portable version is stop working without Internet.
Perhaps a red banner warning that you are using a version older than 3 months would be better.

Hi, dekRe.

Yesterday’s release may have fixed a bug in offline timeout problem. However, I think there’s still a 30-day limit so you’ll still need to be online/update more frequently than 3 months.
