Using the Vishay PPTC1210E3075V24 resettable fuse model, this simulation sets up a temperature sweep from −40°C to +82.5°C and examined the device’s trip response under fault conditions. The simulation highlights how ambient temperature influences the available hold current and trip timing. As temperature increases, the device reaches its protection threshold sooner, while colder conditions allow higher fault current before tripping.
