This schematic capture is one by our own Mike Engelhardt. “Dynamic microphones source a low impedance, low voltage signal that can usually be improved with an in-line preamp. There are many commercially available. Unfortunately, they usually don’t terminate the mic and many dynamic mics perform better with termination to dampen resonances in the mic.
