For this week’s QSPICE schematic capture, we have “KSC1845v4” by our friend Alexander Bordodynov. “I made a simple circuit and a copy of it using an output transistor radiator. The radiator reduces the thermal resistance and increases the heat capacity. By the way, germanium transistors have a much higher heat capacity. Compare the specific heat of silicon and germanium - there is a huge difference. Perhaps that’s why many people like to listen to germanium amplifiers.” Please send any submissions to tim.mccune@qorvo.com (Schematic Capture Post #069)
