The title says all.
I expect a possible answer to be something like the one to this question: however, I think it is interesting to have an indication (even hazy) on if and when it may happen.
Hi, see: QSpice under Wine in Linux
If the forum has the capability to “lock” a post to always be at the top,
then should create a FAQ that states the answer to official answer about ports to Mac & Linux,
otherwise new visitors will beat this issue like a dead horse.
Good point. We are working on a FAQ for that very reason!
I just pinned the larger Linux thread to the top. Thanks for the idea.
I would like to see just the simulation engine ported to Linux, preferrably Debian Bookworm. I currently run Ngspice in Github Codespaces (which utilize Docker containers). Starting with a netlist, I run a Jupyter Notebook in the Codespace with Ngspice running as a subprocess. This allows me to run simulations with only a web-browser. It would be fun to experiment with the QSPICE engine in this environment. To be clear, I only want a command line interface.
