QPC6713 - Attenuation states

Hi,

In QPC6713 can only the discrete attenuation states shown in Pg 10 namely 0.25dB, 0.5dB, 1dB, 2dB, 4dB , 8dB, 16dB and 31.75dB be configured?

Or can any attenuation state we wish with 0.25dB step until 31.75dB be set, for example 20dB ?

Yes you can set the QPC6713 to any attenuation up to 31.75dB in 0.25dB steps. In this table they have only showed the 7 major steps plus min and max attenuation. As it’s a 7 bit DSA there will be 2^7 = 128 attenuation states.
