QM35825 Application development

Hi,

I am in the process of evaluating the QM35825 as a potential part replacement for one of our existing products and have a few questions about working with the chip.

  1. My understanding is that the QM35825 requires a application micro alongside it to operate. I see support for the nRF52840DK in the latest release of QM35-SDK. Am I correct that the application micro is responsible for flashing the QM35825 and controlling its operation over the HSSPI following the UCI Spec?
  2. In the QM35-SDK, there is a pre-compiled binary for the QM35825. Is it possible for us to generate our own binaries for the QM35825? If not currently, are there plans to allow it in the future?

As a note there are no tags for the QM35 on the forum, hence the QM33 tags.

Thank you,
zrivard

@zrivard , these are great questions. Firstly, I edited your tags for QM35. FYI, you are free to create tags that can subsequently be used by others if you do not find a relevant one.

  1. Yes this is correct.
  2. Currently, generating your own software running on the QM35825 is not possible and you must use the pre-compiled software from Qorvo on the device. This is something that we are looking into for the future.
