Hi, I am an mechanical engineering student working on a team project, and we are not very familiar with signal processing and aren’t sure what buy for our use case. We were originally looking into the DW3120, and the DWM3000EVB but we aren’t sure about physical compatibility, what chips work with what boards, finding a compatible chip that meets our requirements, etc. So we were hoping someone with more experience could point us in the right direction.
For our project, we need:
- Interface with Raspberry Pi or Arduino (or a breadboard‑compatible interface)
- Determine Angle of Arrival (AoA) using a dual‑antenna array
- Measure accurate Time of Arrival (ToA) or distance
- (Optional) Measure signal amplitude or signal strength
- Budget of ~$150
I apologize if this is out of place or if this is a dumb question, I am completely new to this area and know very little, but I am trying to learn more, so I apologize in advance.
