There used to be a reduced data rate (~160 Kbps) device available.

DW IC supports 3 data rates: 110kbps, 850kbps and 6.81 Mbps. … please see DW1000 Datasheet. The modules based on DW1000 also support these rates (of course), however the SW or example applications that comes with the modules may not
