PRF64 or PRF16 in DWM1000

I am wondering between PRF16 and PRF64. The documentation says that PRF64 will ensure more accuracy and stability than PRF16, but the distance will be reduced. But I use PRF64 on DWM1000 placed 5m apart, when placing a large plastic board about 3cm thick, the reading result is 6m, while PRF16 is 5.3m. Along with that, the range between PRF64 and PRF16 is not different, both only achieve about 28m (at 27m, the message loss rate is 5% but at 28m it is 90%).Transmitter power I tried to 0x1F1F1F1F. Can anyone explain it to me?

I’ve not done extensive testing but in the few tests I did do I didn’t find significant differences between the two.

However whiteboards as shown in your picture aren’t normally plastic, they typically have a metal core so that magnets stick to them. If you are using a normal whiteboard then you’re placing a metal sheet in the direct path and probably measuring a reflection path instead.
