I’ve been using QSpice since it was made public and it has quickly become my favorite / go-to simulator. I have quite a few NGspice-based simulation models and I was wondering if you would be implementing an NGspice compatiblity mode? I particularly like the Xspice digital library in NGspice, and I expect it would port over fairly easily to the digital subsystem in Qspice.
I would assume there would be ideological incompatibilities regarding the license…
I expect that would be true if they wanted to just copy the NGspice source code, but providing spice models that match their syntax shouldn’t be an issue.
I’m guessing it’s unlikely to be implemented, but thought I’d ask anyways.
