Hi,
I’m an individual developer. I have a custom RFFC5072 breakout board (26 MHz ref, 3-wire EN/SCK/SDATA) and the legacy RFSlice GUI installed on Windows.
Per the RFMD Eval Board and Programming Tool Guide (Appendix §4), a UM232R/FT232R should be programmed with MProg using the “.ept file for the RFMD Slice II Programmer”, after which it shows up as “RFMD Bit Banger” / “RFMD Slice II” with D2XX drivers.
I use an FT232RL USB adapter (not UM232R). MProg/FTDI only ship Default.ept — no RFMD template anywhere public.
Question: Does anyone have this .ept, or know if Qorvo/appsupport still provides it for legacy RFFC5072A evaluation? I’m not asking for eval boards or chip shipments — just the EEPROM template for Bit Banger.
Alternative I’m considering: STM32 bit-bang on the chip directly, but GUI would be convenient for register tuning.
Thanks!
