MOSFET Thermal Loss Analysis

Hello Everyone,

I am planning to use QSPICE to do thermal analysis like we do in PLECS. See attached image for reference. (The image and model is just for reference)

I have modeled an isolated HVLV DCDC Converter in QSPICE and also using L3 SPICE models of real MOSFETS from Infineon. (PS: The simulation runs very slow due to the complex model but thats ok for now.)

I want to understand if we can do similar analysis like we do in PLECS in QSPICE as well, like using heat sink, setting ambient temperature, Rth Zth values for thermal heat transfer etc.
If yes, can anyone share some reference model in QSPICE or any advice would also help.

Use the LUT approach

Hi Belov
Thank you for your kind suggestion. I guess LUT approach is fine and workable when I am analysing individual switch or module. But with something like in below circuit, I will have hard time implementing LUT approach. (Image is for reference. Please ignore the values if looks unrealistic.)
