Is it possible to mirror a component already placed in the circuit? I believe that the shortcuts Ctrl-R and Ctrl-M do not work for a component already placed in the circuit.

Point and press down the left mouse button on the component. While holding down that left mouse button, type Ctrl+R and/or Ctrl+M.
