I saw on the QSPICE webpage that it is described as “Free for commercial use,” but I would like to confirm a few details before internal adoption.
Could you please clarify the following points?
Is QSPICE completely free for commercial use by a company such as Ciena?
Are there any company-size limits, user-count limits, revenue thresholds, or enterprise-license requirements?
Are there any hidden fees, paid tiers, feature limitations, or usage restrictions that would apply to corporate users?
Does each user need to register an account, or can the software be downloaded and used without individual account registration?
Are there any restrictions on using QSPICE for internal company projects, product design, or customer-related engineering work?
Is there a formal license agreement or terms document that our legal/procurement team should review before company use?
We would appreciate any official documentation or written confirmation you can provide regarding QSPICE’s licensing, especially for corporate/commercial use.
