Hi,
On previous versions I used to press SPACE to restore my saved plot configurations, let’s said I am simulating and then I change a value and click Run the plot regenerates with different scales, if I want to go my saved settings what i need to do? I feel like this changed some versions ago.
Thank you,
I am not aware of any changes in Qspice (may be I remember it wrong). The procedure is as follows: you can save your waveform viewer settings by going to File > Save Config in the waveform viewer (or just press Save Icon).
To clarify, the following conditions will load your settings, assuming that your saved config file name (.pfg) is the same as your schematic file name (.qsch):
- If you close the waveform viewer and run a simulation, the waveform viewer will automatically load this configuration when it plots.
- If you simply rerun the simulation without first closing the waveform viewer, it will reset to auto scale until you press the “spacebar” (in waveform viewer) to reload this configuration.

Thank you very much!
I created a new project and noticed that if I click the icon it will save it with the same name, but if I go FIle- Save Config it will save it as (name)1.pfg, increasing the number every time I save, making the Spacebar shortcut not usable.
