Is TQP4M9071 Bidirectional DSA?

I would appreciate your help regarding the TQP4M9071 DSA.

In the datasheet, the pin configuration explicitly labels the RF ports as RF IN and RF OUT.

My intention is to use the device in a bidirectional configuration, but based on what I mentioned previously, I’m concerned that this may not be possible.

I couldn’t find any explicit statement in the datasheet confirming whether bidirectional operation is supported.

Could you please clarify whether the TQP4M9071 can be used bidirectionally?

The TQP4M9071 will be bi-directional when you look at small signal operation. It will not be bi-directional under large signal conditions. The P1dB and IP3 will reduce in the reverse direction. The max input power only applies to the RF input pin. The max input power into the RF output pin will be lower. Qorvo has not fully characterized the large signal performance in the reverse direction.

BTW Same answer for other DSAs in the Qorvo portfolio.

Can you get more specific?
by saying “small signal operation” how can i know to what dBm can i count as small signal? is it the maximum for the regular DSA - 16dBm (last attenuator)?
