Is PDoA shift correction necessary for the default configuration?

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the PDoA Interval Shift mentioned in the APS330 AoA Design Guide (Section 5.2).

For the default configuration (which is the one I am planning to use), is it strictly necessary to apply this PDoA shift correction and regenerate the LUT?

If so, could you explain why the equipment doesn’t come with this already optimized for the default configuration out of the box?

This is not something that you need to do if using the evaluation kits with the default antenna with the default calibration in the SDK.

APS330 is a reference for when you build your own system. It also gives you insight in how we prepared the calibrations that exist in the SDK.
