Is it necessary to use ptp1588 to help the system to keep precision?

Hi Sir,
We plan to develop a p[color=#333333][size=small][font=arial]ositioning system using DW1000 module, the numbers of anchors is maybe more than 100.[/font][/size][/color]
[color=#333333][size=small][font=arial]I am not sure how the anchors,tags to do synchronization.[/font][/size][/color][color=#333333][size=small][font=arial]Is it necessary to use ptp1588 to help the system to keep locate assets to a precision of 10cm?[/font][/size][/color]
[color=#333333][size=small][font=arial]Could you kindly give me some advice? [/font][/size][/color]

What kind of RTLS scheme are you planning to develop ? Tof (time of flight) or TDoA (time difference of arrival) ?

Yes most likely/definitely you will need to use some kind of clock synchronization to have an accurate system.

[color=#333333]For multiple a[color=#333333]nchor case,we may use TDOA scheme.[/color][/color]
