Improving DW1000 resolution

Hi,

I’m new here, so I think it’s good to say - Hello to everyone.

I have question about resolution of DW1000 ranging. I want to do on my master thesis motion detector based on DWM1000 and FPGA with high resolution time-to-digital converter.
The question is: Is it possible to acheive a resolution of ranging 1cm using DWM1000 with corresponding TDC resolution ~30ps?
Datasheet tells that max precision is 10 cm so I’m confused.
