Hi,
As the title’s question, how to open two copies of the waveform viewer?
I don’t see an option to open a new waveform viewer window. However, you can create a new schematic window, go to the window explorer, drag the .qraw file into that schematic window, and it will open a new waveform viewer with that .qraw file.
Perhaps you could send a request to Mike to see if Qspice should have an option to open a blank waveform viewer.
Ok, I sent right now to Mike an email to ask him if it would be possible to implement an option somehow in order to be able to open a new waveform viewer within the same schematic, without needed to created new schematics to be able to open multiple waveform viewers.
Once the simulation is run and a Waveform Viewer is visible, can’t you just “File | Open” in the schematic viewer and, in the bottom right of the dialog, select “Waveform Files (*.qraw)” and open the *.qraw file? Or double-click on the *.qraw file in File Explorer? (Of course, a failed simulation or closing QSpice deletes the *.qraw by default.)
