How to get communication between DW3000 and DW1000

I bought a DW3000 and DW1000 from Makerfabs and I’ve tried using the listed library examples to get communication between them however with no luck I’ve checked the channels are both set to 5 but nothing
I just want to see there distances apart, could anyone please assist me?

This should work.
Set both to channel 5. Ensure STS on the DW3000 is disabled. Ensure all the other settings are the same.
That’s about all there is to it, they should talk fine once you do that.

The first thing to check is whether a DW1000 can talk to another DW1000 and that a DW3000 can talk to another DW3000.
