Caution

Enclosure materials can significantly influence UWB antenna performance, including radiation pattern and gain, which may require re‑verifying or adjusting Tx power to maintain proper operation and regulatory compliance. Customers are responsible for validating Tx power for their specific enclosure and material choices, as different plastics – and even variations of the same material – can produce measurably different RF effects.

Hey! this is super cool. do you recommend a battery pack that will work for this? many of the off the shelf battery packs have a low current sleep mode and the standard li ion isnt 5V out. let me know your thoughts

@jskauf

The battery holder is designed around the CR123A type batteries, which is a 3V battery and is directly connected to the on-board JST type connector.

Based on your question, I’m assuming you are asking for a 5V battery recommendation that can connect directly to the USB/Supply input which is not the intended use case.

oh i didnt see the on-board JST type connector, that makes sense

Thank you so much. I appreciate it.
