DWM3001CDK board using CLI firmware, suddenly fails to start on power on

I am testing with Murata for the UCI failure.. they have me using the CLI firmware..

I ran test with the CDK with initf, and all was ok..
now to do respf
but ranging doesn’t start

flash board
move USB cable
connect to board
menu work, help works, status works.
setapp respf
ok
save
ok

unplug/repower board

should be in responder mode
connect.. I see the init, idle and active status, but nothing else.
menu stil active

tried a different board, same results
flashed UCI, then CLI firmware again (to force erase/write)
no change..

any suggestions on what could be the cause? two different CDK boards.
unplug at PC, then change cord on board, then insert cord in pc..

initf mode also no longer works..
if I set initf mode, save, and recycle power, connect via terminal, I see

not enough memory

Sometimes if you are changing firmware, there could be old/corrupted calibration that needs to be wiped as well. Just doing a sector erase and write of new firmware will not erase the old calibration so please try to do an entire chip erase of the nRF52 before loading the new firmware.

Thanks.. didn’t know Ozone didn’t clear everything when it said Erase..
