Using the DWM3001CDK board as an anchor, the distance measurement is transmitted much more slowly on battery power than when connected directly to a PC via USB micro cable at J20.
Also, when the PC is plugged into J20, the top red LED flashes and the Green LED D13 remains ON. However, when I plugged a 3-AA battery pack into the J20 USB micro connector, only the top red LED flashes and the Green LED is not illuminated and the anchor distance transmitted is really slow, like once ever 1-2 seconds rather than rapid (multiple times a second) as it was plugged into the PC.
It seems the reduction in transmission rate is possibly a power saving feature, but once ever 1-2 seconds is too slow for my application. Is there a way to have the distance rapidly transmitted again while using a battery pack for power?
I wasn’t sure if this was a battery issue or if a communication had to take place with the PC to establish the faster connection. I have not been able to locate the source code to see, but in this instance I am using the CLI version .hex code that was included for the board.
Thanks,
