Hi Kai17,

DWM3000 supports the Apple NI Framework on the iPhone. However, the NI firmware currently available sets the device in the peripheral mode and expects the iPhone to initiate the OOB connection procedure. If the Apple watch shares similar UWB implementation as the iPhone and can initiate the device connection over BLE, then either sides can initiate the ranging procedure. Please review the Apple documentation on the Nearby Interaction program for the compatibility.

Haven’t tried the scenario and not sure about it. But I’ve once heard that it’s compatible with iPhone.

Thank you both for your reply. I am in the process of getting DWM3000+nRF52DK ranging with iPhone 11, still not getting there yet :-(. Once it is done I will get around to try on Apple Watch.
