Draw electrical structural model schematic in QSPICE

I like to draw electrical structural model schematics in QSPICE instead of Visio—it’s really easy and convenient to use. Unfortunately, I can’t quickly add arrowed wire ends, and wire thickness variations are hard to tell apart when zooming out. Would it be possible to improve this in the software core? Thanks a lot!

I highly recommended to use drawio for drawing electrical schematic. There have many electrical symbolw and you can drawn an unlisted symbol easily.

My employer IT team tried to push me to uninstall Draw.io and use Visio instead.

I ended up getting the portable version…haha

The drawing logic is just a lot better than Visio. Though I still want to complain about the grid accuracy.

If you’re only missing wire ends with arrows here’s a suggestion:

  • Draw the electrical structural schematic in QSpice.
  • Add graphic triangle (filled) to the wire end.
  • Copy and paste the triangles where needed.

It’s a bit crude-ish and elemental but should accomplish your task without violating a valid schematic netlist.
