Are there provisions to select and drag multiple parts and wires on a schematic using a keyboard short-cut?
There is nothing in the drop-down menus that allows you to do this.
Presently, to resize or shift schematic portions under construction I am moving one part at a time, one wire at a time.
I just answered my own question:
You press down the “Shift” key, then use your mouse to select multiple portions of a schematic, drawing a rectangle.
Then you can move whole sections of the schematic that you have just selected.

For deleting objects keep Del pressed and move mouse pointer over objects.
Work as pencil eraser.
Or use Shift for group select and press Del
