Has anyone else had the issue of the C/C++ compiled output dll’s being flagged by the employer anti-virus? The older topics in the Forum seem to be related to early installation errors, which is not what I’m talking about. My IT manager is waiting to hear from back from Qorvo before deciding to allow my use of these dll’s. When I run the DMC compiler from command line I get OPTLINK : Error 3: Cannot Create File inv_controller_v2.DLL
, which also matches the error when compiling from QSpice directly. Everything works fine on my personal machine.

Hi, Hans.
It’s unlikely (but not impossible) that QSpice (or the DMC compiler) is generating a DLL with code that’s recognized as containing malware.
My initial thought is that the IT guys don’t allow random folk to create *.dll files. Maybe try opening a text file and saving it as a *.dll. If that is blocked, you have your answer.

My company IT constantly contact me about .DLL detected in my laptop, as company malware or antivirus seems to be very sensitive on any .DLL and .EXE suddenly generated in company laptop.
I try not to work with DLL block in my company laptop.
Yes, i am having this problem atm.
Also if i generate DLL from verilog files it seems to be ok.
Atm i have Symatec antivirus.
