I understand how to import components like op-amps from data sheets thanks to the hellen spice stuff resource but I’m having a hard time figuring out the best way to import parts like this https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm2577.pdf from the datasheet.
I am brand new to spice in general so while I will try and search the forums for answers to all my questions I do apologise if I’m spamming too many extremely basic questions.
Integrated circuits like this have really complex models. Texas Instruments has its own simulator. The barrier to entry for simulating this part accurately would be much lower through their own simulator. For example, look at figure 32 in the datasheet you linked too. An accurate spice model would have to reverse engineer everything in there. I’m sure TI already has a model for the PSpice-for-TI platform. And, it won’t readily be ported to another spice engine.
