Constant load with smooth transition between states?

Hello,

I wonder if anyone have any suggestion or solution they could kindly share, on how to make/implement a constant load that can transition between states in a smooth way that doesn’t make the simulator get stuck in the transition state?

This is my current implementation, that get stuck as soon the VBAT_SW3 reaches 4 Volt.

Does this resistive load help?

It helped a little bit instead of 3000 seconds it took 2500 seconds with the resistor model, in my circuit to finish the simulation.
