Configuring the QM33120 as Initiator or responder whenever the device is powered up

Hi,

I’m using the QM33120WDK1 and QM33110 with Nordic nrf52840. I’ve successfully flashed the firmware using the Segger j-link software and everything is working fine.

I want to use these uwb modules on iMX93 evk and I want to make any one of these devices as initiator or responder while the evk is booting up.

  1. how can i configure any one of these as standalone initiator or responder? If yes, How?
  2. can we get the power consumption, frequency and Decibel (db) values from different directions and distances using any software or Command line?
  3. I’m only able to connecting these two devices to same system/laptop. How can i connect these two devices to different systems or laptops and what are the configurations?

Hi @leela,

Can you clarify what you mean by “standalone”? Do you mean just the QM33110 or with the nRF52840?

I’ve connected both QM33120 to nRF52840 and QM33110 to nRF52840. Both are connected to the same laptop to work out. I want to make QM33120 as Initiator/Responder for all the time without configuring.

And i want to connect both the devices to different laptops. Is there any way to make it?

Hi @leela, this is possible. If you are using our latest SDK v1.0.1, please use the setapp command. You can find the information in the developer manual.
