I’m working on integrating a Qorvo QM33120 and an NXP SR150 for UWB communication.
Both devices are FiRa-compliant, but I’m encountering difficulties in bidirectional data transfer.
While I can transmit data from the SR150 to the QM33120, the reverse direction fails.
It seems that the SR150 might utilize session IDs and a specific protocol to synchronize with other NXP devices, which could be problamatic for Qorvo device.
I’d appreciate any advice or technical guidance on addressing this issue.
The software delivered by Qorvo is compliant with the MAC Conformance tool from FiRa (MCTT). Hence a Qorvo FiRa solution is interoperable with any other device complying with the same FiRa standard.
I cannot quite comment on the SR150, I haven’t use this part. Did you contact NXP to get confirmation they’re using standard FiRa solution ?
If you can capture the UCI messages used to configure the SR150, we should be able to identify any parameter which may prevent a good communication with the QM33.
