Channel Impulse Response at different bandwidths

I currently want to find out what the effects of different bandwidths on the Channel Impulse Response (CIR) are.
For that, I set my DWM1000 module to either channel 5 or channel 7. They both have the same carrier frequency but channel 5 has 500MHz bandwidth and channel 7 has 900MHz.

Now, should there be any obvious visual differences between CIRs at 500MHz or 900MHz? For my understanding, signals of 500MHz should have a sample frequency of roughly 1GHz while signals of 900MHz should have at least 1.8GHz. This means a single value in the CIR has a time resultion of 1ns at 500MHz and not quite 0.5ns at 900MHz - is this correct at all?

Best regards
